Miracell Participates in Germany’s Medica, the World’s Largest Medical Device Exhibition
Targeting the Global Market with the Stem Cell Extraction System “Smart Mcell 2”
[Edaily Reporter Lee Soon-yong] Stem cell specialist Miracell (CEO Shin Hyun-soon) announced on the 16th that it is participating in “MEDICA 2022,” the world’s largest medical device exhibition, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, until the 17th.
MEDICA is an international trade fair encompassing the global medical technology industry, and has been held annually since 1969.
This event is expected to attract over 4,400 companies from approximately 70 countries, and over 150,000 visitors from 150 countries are expected.
“MEDICA 2022” showcased a wide range of medical technologies, including the latest medical equipment and systems, laboratory technology equipment, diagnostic imaging, robotics, and advanced medical solutions and health IT applications.
At this exhibition, Miracell showcased the excellence of its stem cell extraction system, “SMART M-CELL2,” and its dedicated kits (SMART M-CELL2 and Kits) to medical professionals from around the world. “SMART M-CELL2” is a cutting-edge bio-device that supports effective cell therapy, providing cells optimized for tissue regeneration and core biological cells that serve as a rich source of protein.
The patented separation technology reduces granular leukocytes and produces more monocytes, thereby reducing inflammation and increasing the proportion of stem cells.
Miracell is already conducting several clinical trials with general and university hospitals in Korea, and its effectiveness in stem cell regeneration therapy is highly recognized.
Shin Hyun-soon, CEO of Miracell, said, “We are participating in MEDICA again in 2021 to expand our presence in the European market.
Given the importance of a strong platform for international exchange and business in the medical technology industry, we are actively targeting overseas markets to promote Korea’s outstanding technology and our cutting-edge bio stem cell extraction system.”
“Given the strong buyer interest in regenerative medicine, we plan to expand our global exports with the upgraded SmartMcell 4, following the SmartMcell 2.”
Meanwhile, Miracell plans to attend the ‘IMCAS World Congress 2023,’ the world’s largest aesthetic plastic surgery conference, to be held in Paris in January next year.
